Out of districts last week and into regionals with the best from the SPSL South. This wrestling tournament with 8 of the top district wrestlers in each weight class takes the top four to the state wrestling championships in the Tacoma Dome next week.
Noah injured out last year and had the weight issue the year before, so getting through this year was a big deal.
Four tough matches and the kid grabs the 4th spot. Here ya go:
At the tail end of a final senior wrestling season for the Snohomish Panthers. Noah enjoyed the challenges that a swollen IT band provides… Ok, he didn’t enjoy it as it made him injury out of a couple tournaments, but here we are at the end of the season feeling good and ready to march through the state wide tournament.
Districts taking place at Cavelaro Jr High (hosted by Lake Stevens)
Noah competing at the same weight he’s been at most of the year, 145#. Being stronger than most as well as faster than most have helped in bringing him to this point with an approximate 29-3 record and a #2 seed.

Match #3 Semi’s:
And for the finals. Noah matched up with Trysten Peralas. As you can see Noah let nerves slow him and he described it as just being off with out an answer to get back. Trysten to good to wrestle like that and as a result noah pulls off 2nd place with a 5-2 loss.
On to regionals next week. Both will have to wrestle well to set up a rematch.

Whatever the case, Panthers won and Noah’s match starts around minute 25:30
Lynden tournament over a bit faster than anyone wanted. Not because of a Noah loss, but because the IT band has been tight causing knee issues. Here are the first two matches prior to an injury default for Noah.
NOTE: Noah has advised me that I am required to make it known to all visitors
that he is not at fault for the adding of content to this site. It is his
old man who gladly adds bits and pieces from time to time.
